WELCOME TO
DOI INTHANON ELEPHANT SANCTUARY
was born with the intention of protecting elephants in an eco-friendly manner. There is no riding and no maltreatment, we care about our elephants as family members – and invite you to come and see for yourself!
Born and raised in a traditional hill tribe village a couple of hours from Chiang Mai, Taksin and his family decided to bring their traditions with them to the city! “A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree without roots.”
